Different type of the tank need to apply different type of the setting:
Adjustable the controller on the wavelength is sameas the Tank Size(Long), when the Wave same as the Tank Length is suitable. Revise the clock button as you need to reduce the wave. When change the setting require at least 10mins to verify if you change the controller button. Watch and try to adjust the best wavelength on your tank
W2,W3(Reef Stream Mode with Adjustable): ordinary fixed program made stream made wave mode;
This two modes by means of the knob to change the the fixed program's effect, need to be adjusted according to the creatures in the water
W3(Reef Stream Mode): Indefinite program cause stream made wave mode;
According to the aquatic adjustment knob to change indefinite program effects;
Feeding Mode : Press the "FEED" button once, "10min" (blue lights) stop the wavemaker after 10 minutes made waves pump start again. Or direct press the Feed button to back to Normal

Fantastic wavemaker. If anything to powerful. Have mine on a 72 bow front turned down to 50 %. Get a variable power supply if you have a 48inch tank

Great Quality and performance for the price range, even better than the Tuxxe.

This is a very good alternative to the much more expensive Eco Tech wavemakers

Awesome pumps for the price. recommended to anyone who is looking for controllable pumps with lots of features without the heavy price tag.

I have two of these wp40's in my 77g long (crazy, right?) Well - it' crazy if you don't have the variable power supply!
I use one (with no power supply) for my wave, and the other with the variable to do 'Edge' mode which creates random flow patterns. I like the mixture of the two.
The unit itself is rather large, however due to it's ability to control everything is where it gets me. For the price, you can't go wrong with this unit!

I bought this wave maker for my 6 foot 125g tank thinking it might not be enough flow. Boy was I wrong. This pump delivers so much flow its unreal, it has replaced 3 other pumps in my tank and works great. The controller is easy to use and simple to use when changing to feed mode. Very quiet in the tank and easy to move around with the magnetic mounting bracket. If you have anything smaller than a 6ft tank I would recommend the variable power supply to maybe step down the amount of power this pump has so you dont end up splashing out a bunch of water on the floor.

the tiny night sensor came loose in the box an in no bag tip look under the flaps of the box if you can not see it I'm running the pump on a 3x2x2 with variable power supply at 15W on Else and the pump is brilliant Ive replaced 4 pumps to just this one and have no dead spots well worth the money and with the variable power supply the pump ends up silent so if your tank is 5' or under think about getting a variable power supply for it cos this pump is power-full

Shipment arrived quickly and communication was great as is usual for Reef Supply Canada. It arrived in the box pictured here in great shape BUT it really should have been double boxed. The manufacture's box isn't up to the rigours of Canada Post. I got lucky. While I'm grousing, many forums indicate that it ships with a resistor for the night sensor. No such goodies arrived in my box.
So, it's been installed for about a week on the end of a 6' long 108 gallon tank. It's more than powerful enough to create waves that can slop over the sides of the tank. It had a bit of a buzzy noise when ramping up/down but that disappeared after a few days. Now its very quiet. My favourite mode is "Else" which is similar to a random setting. The corals seem to love it.
The tank always has had a bit of a surface film that I've never been able to skim off through my hang-on overflow. After first installing the WP40 it agitated the water well enough to send the film (and a whole lot of other suspended crud) through the overflow and Into my sump where the skimmer and socks could do their jobs.
